Welcome to Stitch Bliss D-Signs

How lovely of you to take a look into my world of relaxation! My name is Diana, and behind the scenes of this site, I am the designer and driving force. I live with my family in Almere, the Netherlands, and besides my passion for cross stitch, I work full-time. However, as soon as I get the chance, I pick up my needle and thread.

The start of a passion

My love for cross stitch began when I was 19 (quite a few years ago now! :)). At the time, I started, like many others, with the well-known ready-made cross stitch kits. But along the way, I discovered the enormous freedom of the world of individual patterns and beautiful, versatile fabrics. A whole new world opened up for me!

From idea to pattern

A few years ago, my children gave me a special gift: software to design my own cross stitch patterns. It turned out to be a perfect match. I discovered how much I love going through the entire process: from creating or editing an image to translating it into a workable pattern, and then seeing it come to life stitch by stitch.

Taking the leap

My family saw my enthusiasm and asked me: "Why don't you let others enjoy these patterns too?" To be honest, I hesitated for a long time. After all, there are already so many talented designers out there. But the urge to create and share won out over the doubt. With Stitch Bliss D-signs, I am now taking the leap.

What can you expect here?

I have a great love for full coverage patterns. I love the depth and the painterly results they provide. In my collection, you will find:

  • Large projects: For those who love long, meditative work.
  • Smaller full coverage patterns: For those who like to see results a bit faster and want to move on to something new sooner.
  • Non-full coverage patterns: Because some designs simply look better when the right color of fabric serves as the background.

My goal is simple: I hope my patterns give you the same Bliss they give me during the designing and stitching process.
